METHOD FOR MODIFYING SILICEOUS FINE POWDER, MODIFIED SILICEOUS FINE POWDER AND CEMENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain siliceous fine powder which is typified by silica fume and the dispersibility of which is improved efficiently to contribute to the improvement of the compressive strength and fluidity of concrete, mortar or the like.

SOLUTION: A method for modifying siliceous fine powder comprises a step of bringing acidic gas into contact with the siliceous fine powder. Modified siliceous fine powder is obtained by bringing acidic gas into contact with the siliceous fine powder. A cement composition contains the modified siliceous fine powder obtained by bringing acidic gas into contact with the siliceous fine powder.
