PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer drum driving control device capable of reducing manufacturing cost in a concrete mixed truck. SOLUTION: This mixer drum driving control device includes a traveling engine 3 as a power source of a mixer drum 2, a hydraulic pump 5 and a hydraulic motor 6 variable in capacity for reciprocally rotating and accelerating-decelerating the mixer drum 2 based on power of the traveling engine 3, a controller 10 for controlling operation of the hydraulic pump 5 and the hydraulic motor 6 so that the mixer drum 2 becomes a target rotation state in response to a rotating speed of the traveling engine 3, a drive shaft 4 for transmitting rotation of the traveling engine 3 to the hydraulic pump 5, and a power generating set 22 for generating electric power in response to rotation of the drive shaft 4.
