PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain earthquake countermeasure at low cost by introducing a vibration-damping device instead of a base isolation device, and to extremely enhance vibration-resistance by combining the base isolation device and the vibration-damping device in a quay crane (low profile crane) having a leg structure object and a slide type boom. SOLUTION: In the quay crane having the leg structure object 3 and the slide type boom 4 slidably supported on the leg structure object 3 and is used for cargo work of a marine transportation container, the vibration-damping device 2 is installed between the leg structure object 3 and the boom 4 and the vibration-damping device 2 is made to a mechanism for damping relative motion generated between the leg structure object 3 and the boom 4.
