PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of minimizing decrease of surface potential to be caused when collector electrode plates are electrically made conductive because of deterioration of insulation properties of a spacer projection by adhesion of dust and deterioration of electric resistance on the surface of the collector electrode plate. SOLUTION: The dust collector is constituted so that a semiconductive layer is constituted on a plurality of areas on a dust repulsion electrode plate 2 and a dust collecting electrode plate 3. Thus, when energization occurs, even if deterioration of potential difference occurs in an area where an energized part exists, potential difference of other areas is not spoiled, and dust collection efficiency is maintained for a long period.
