PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body capable of selecting the subject of cleaning to be sweeping or wiping matched with a floor surface, and to provide a vacuum cleaner using the suction port body. SOLUTION: The suction port body includes a pair of rotary cleaning bodies 511 including the one for sweeping and the one for wiping, a floor surface detection means 512, and an elevating/lowering means 570 for elevating and lowering at least one of the pair of rotary cleaning bodies 511.
