PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of surely and easily matching the rotation phase of a motor and the rotation phase of a sewing machine main shaft when mounting a timing belt. SOLUTION: A sewing machine pulley 50 includes three through-holes 52, 53, and 54, and a motor pulley 60 includes three through-holes 62, 63, and 64. When matching the rotation phases of the sewing machine pulley 50 and the motor pulley 60, an operator inserts a fitting part 83 of a tool 80 to the through-hole 54, inserts a fitting part 84 to the through-hole 62 and inserts a fitting part 85 to the through-hole 63. Since the tool 80 fixes the positions of the through-holes 54, 62 and 63, the rotations of the sewing machine pulley 50 and the motor pulley 60 are restricted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
