PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for researching and collecting viewing and listening data of media without any deficit and inexpensively, even when some trouble occurs in a watermark overlapping device to overlap watermark information such as broadcasting ID and the like to contents. SOLUTION: A calculation center 3 receives and stores monitor data including quality-level data, feature quality, broadcasting ID, and the like transmitted from a monitoring center 2; and receives and monitors research data including the quality-level data, a compressed voice, and the like transmitted from family units 1 cooperating the researches. Further, the calculation center 3 produces and stores the looking and listening data on the basis of the research data while referring the quality-level data transmitted from the monitoring center 2, and extracts the feature quantity from the research data to compare the feature quality included in the monitor data, if necessary.
