The storage has metal sheet layers (16) contacting with a structure i.e. flat pipe (11), in a heat conducting manner. The layers are stacked over each other, and a sorbent (17) i.e. active carbon, for adsorption and desorption of an operating resource is arranged on a side of sheet layers. The sorbent comprises a good heat conducting connection with the sheet layers. The sorbent is attached as a monolayer of a granular or particulate layer, on both sides of a metal support by bonding. An independent claim is also included for a heat pump comprising a heat transfer device.
