<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a water-based ink for use in inkjet recording which gives a higher value in the optical density (OD) of recorded matter in spite of having high permeability and is excellent in discharge stability. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink for use in inkjet recording includes a pigment, water, an anionic surfactant expressed by formula (1): R-O-(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>-X<SP>-</SP>M<SP>+</SP>, and a complex salt to form an anionic zirconium complex ion. In formula (1), R is a hydrophobic group; X<SP>-</SP>is an anionic group; M<SP>+</SP>is an alkali metal ion or a quaternary ammonium ion; and n is an integer of 1-30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
