PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain signal quality even if the temperature of a circuit device or a power source changes.

SOLUTION: A waveform shaping device 100 has a limiter amplifier 112, a bandpass filter 113, a measurement section 114 and a gain controller 115. The limiter amplifier 112 amplifies an input signal by a variable amount of amplification with a specified output amplitude as a limit, and the bandpass filter 113 extracts odd harmonics from the signal amplified by the limiter amplifier 112. The measurement section 114 measures the strength of the odd harmonics extracted by the bandpass filter 113, and the gain controller 115 controls an amount of amplification for the limiter amplifier 112 based on the strength measured by the measurement section 114.
