<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electronic device compact. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device for performing at least one of recording and reproducing on a hologram disk 1 includes an objective lens 11 disposed oppositely to the hologram disk 1; a varying means for varying relative distances between the objective lens 11 and the hologram disk 1; a laser diode 5 for irradiating the objective lens 11 with a light; and a light-receiving element 12 for receiving reflected light from the hologram disk 1 via the objective lens 11.
