<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and simply detecting defects at the time of printing in a printing article which does not require many webs (printing paper), and also for suppressing the consumption of ink and reducing a deterioration in printing image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The printing image detection method is used for management of a printing balance in a direction perpendicular to the printing direction, and detects printing defects from fine line information obtained by measuring the fine lines of each color printed with a detection device responding to the fine lines, in which the fine lines of each color are arbitrarily allotted in a direction perpendicular to the printing direction on the printing image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
