<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly demonstrate the gas-sealing function of an inflator when the inflator is operated. <P>SOLUTION: An inflator 27 of an airbag device 24 is arranged in an accommodating space surrounded by an airbag 25 and a fixed member 26 while being separated from and supported by the fixed member 26 in an oscillating manner. A front end wall part 47 and a rear end wall part 48 out of an outer shell part 43 of the inflator 27 are deformed under the gas pressure in the outer shell part 43 triggered by the operation of the inflator 27, and abutted on the fixed member 26. When the inflator 27 is operated, the front end wall part 47 and the rear end wall part 48 are deformed, and the inside of the airbag 25 and an opening part 42 are in a non-communicated state by the inflator 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
