摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge transfer device having improved charge-transfer speed. <P>SOLUTION: Electrode pairs, each including a 1poly electrode 40 and a 2poly electrode 42 are arranged in a charge transfer direction on a charge transfer channel region 30, formed on a main surface of a semiconductor substrate. Edges 44, 46 of the 1poly electrode 40 are inclined in the charge-transfer direction.
