PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and a computer program for flexibly responding to various combinations of an application program and a platform program, and for shortening a development process and reduce a development load by improving reusability of an application program and a platform program for achieving the specific function of the device. SOLUTION: The controller is provided with a middleware layer 109 based on a middleware program between a platform layer 108 and an application layer 107. In the middleware layer 109, an interface on the application layer 107 can be selected, and an interface on the platform layer 108 can be also selected. Furthermore, functions on the middleware layer 109 are also integrated into function modules so as to be selectable according to the function on the application layer 107 and the function on the platform layer 108.
