PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lyrics display device allowing a user to sing stably and continuously without relying on user's singing ability. SOLUTION: In the optimum display amount-setting processing, set amount of display is set and is stored in a RAM (S140, S150), and the user utters the lyrics that he/she reads when lyrics by the set amount of display are displayed in a display part. At this time, the more vocalization timing is delayed, the larger a positive value of difference in vocalization deviation becomes, and the more the vocalization timing precedes, the larger a negative value of difference in vocalization deviation becomes (S210). The set amount of display is updated in such a way that, if average difference in deviation is out of the set scope (S230:NO), the larger the value of difference in vocalization deviation is in the negative direction, the number of lyrics scheduled to sing is reduced and the larger the value of difference in vocalization deviation is in the positive direction, the number of lyrics being scheduled to sing is increased (S140).
