PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge device reducing a thickness. SOLUTION: An exhaust unit 90 is equipped with: a duct 92 extended along a floor surface and having an opening 921 on an upper surface; an almost rectangular lid 93 covering the opening 921 of the duct 92, a driving mechanism 94 for opening and closing the lid 93 while having one side 93A side of the lid 93 as a rotating shaft 931; and a lateral wall 932 extended from two sides 93B and 93C adjacent to the one side 93A of the lid 93, to the opening 921 and foldable.
