PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body-rest for supporting a body which is arranged in a urinary, a Western style toilet bowl, or a toilet bowl, or which is attached to the front of a washing stand, a sink cabinet, or a cooking device. SOLUTION: A traverse member 1 for holding the body is arranged in front of the urinary or the like and disposed close to a navel in the front of the body. The traverse member 1 has a structure to be vertically moved in order to adjust the height in response to each body height. The traverse member 1 is moved when the member is not used or has to be removed, so as to be attached to the washing stand, the sink cabinet, or the cooking device other than the urinary.
