The window has a failure switching safety device (11) designed in a blocking position in a leaf (2) that is distanced from a frame (1) and in a release position in the leaf lying in the frame for releasing a movement of a longitudinal movable connecting rod (6). The rod is guided directly from an undercut profile groove (13), such that a bearing bracket (14) has a bearing for a safety catch (15). The safety catch has a unit for supporting of the rod in a blocking position. Fixing units are arranged for direct attachment in the window at ends of the bearing bracket arranged adjacent to the rod. |
