PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of y-type ferrite, and the y-type ferrite manufactured therefrom are provided to secure the low dielectric loss rate and the high permeability of the ferrite without adding additives. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of y-type ferrite includes more than one thermal processing step. The thermal processing step includes a first thermal processing process in 300~500deg C, and a second thermal processing process in 1,100~1,250deg C. The manufacturing method comprises a step of supplying an initial raw material, a step of mixing the initial raw material(S120), a step of co-precipitating the mixed solution(S130), and a step of washing, filtering and drying the co-precipitated material(S140).
