PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling a self-controllable moving device using a wire are provided to prevent the collision of a wire moving the self-controllable moving device and to re-establish a route to prevent the collision of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A system(200) for controlling a self-controllable moving device using a wire comprises a comparator(130), a controller(150) and a wire collision inspecting unit(160). The comparator generates moving force information using the received moving route information and the current position value. The controller changes the moving force information into a positive number. The controller predicts the movement of the wire using the moving force information. The wire collision inspecting unit determines the collision of the wire. The moving route information comprises the pose information and the information on a position to which the self-controllable moving device have to move. The moving force information includes the size of the power, which is applied to the wire in order to move the self-controllable moving device to the moving route information.
