OUTPUT VOLTAGE COMPENSATION CIRCUIT AND ADAPTER POWER SUPPLY COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An output voltage compensation circuit and an adapter power supply comprising the same are provided to improve voltage drop of an adapter power supply by generating an output voltage compensation signal for boosting the output voltage of the adapter power supply. CONSTITUTION: A load detecting unit(121) senses an output current of an adapter power supply unit to sense the load and converted the sensed current to a voltage. A power comparison unit outputs an output compensation signal to raise the output voltage of the adapter power supply. A PI controller(123) applies an output compensated voltage to the PWM IC of the adapter power supply unit. The sensing resistance senses the output current of the adapter power supply unit to detect a load. A voltage converter(1211) converts the sensed output current into a voltage.
