PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Gymnema sylvestre extract is provided to ensure antioxidation and moisturizing and to suppress adipogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.1-10 weight% of Gymnema sylvestre stem cell extract as an active ingredient. The stem cell is derived from leaves, stems, or roots of Gymnema sylvestre. The extract is isolated using purified water, low alcohol of C1-C5, polyhydric alcohol, or mixture thereof.
