<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve life performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery formed by using lithium manganese complex oxide having a spinel structure for a positive electrode active material, and a carbon material for a negative electrode active material, the discharge capacity of the positive electrode active material when charged so that an open terminal voltage after charging the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery becomes 4.1 V is 70 to 80% of the discharge capacity of the positive electrode active material when discharged between 4.3 V and 3.0 V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
