<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile a capacity for receiving a signal in a wide dynamic range through a single signal route with a capacity hardly lowering a signal-to-noise ratio of the signal, in a wideband radar receiving device. <P>SOLUTION: In this wideband radar receiving device, a circuit for detecting a current consumption of a low-noise amplifier is provided to detect saturation of the low-noise amplifier, and thereby such a capacity can be acquired that, when input signal power is small, a gain is enhanced so that the signal-to-noise ratio is hardly lowered, and that, when input signal power is large, an attenuator set on the front of the low-noise amplifier is operated, to thereby receive the signal in the wide dynamic range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
