<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical filter unit capable of suppressing pressure loss without deteriorating gas adsorption performance in the chemical filter unit in which filter panels are arranged into a V shape. <P>SOLUTION: The filter panels 21, 21 present the V shape by allowing portions 21A, 21A of one edge part to approach each other through a void 44. First and second L shaped members 71, 72 are fitted to corner parts 21E, 21E to which the filter panels 21, 21 get closer. The first and second L shaped members 71, 72 are composed of first cover part 51 with which parts of edge surfaces 21D, 21D of one edge parts 21A, 21A are covered, and first and second projection parts 61, 62 with which parts of one surfaces 21C, 21C facing each other are covered. A distance R between the tips 51B, 61B is coincident with a filter thickness T.
