<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current lead capable of flowing a large current and capable of preventing entry of heat very efficiently during non-current flow and at small current. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of terminals 3a, 3b are jointed by a low linear expansion member 5. The low linear expansion member 5 covers the side face of nearly circular terminals 3a, 3b, and are installed so as to straddle over both terminals. A conductor 7 of a circular pillar shape is installed inside the low linear expansion member 5. That is, the low linear expansion member 5 is installed so as to cover the conductor 7 at the outer circumference of the conductor 7. It is desirable that the conductor 7 is a material having a small electric resistance and a large linear expansion coefficient, for example, made of copper. Further, the conductor 7 has an extremely small electric resistance and thermal resistance against the low linear expansion member 5. One end of the conductor 7 is in contact with the terminal 3b, The other end of the conductor 7 is installed with a gap 11 from the terminal 3a.
