PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharging device equipped with a sub-tank between a main tank for storing liquid and a liquid droplet discharging head, which can use up the liquid in the main tank effectively until a predetermined amount of liquid is left therein by detecting the amount of liquid remaining in the main tank accurately. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharging device includes a liquid feed operation detection means for acquiring the detection value of any one of the accumulated liquid feed time or the accumulated amount of liquid, which is accumulated by driving a liquid feed means 6 for supplying the liquid in the main tank 1 to the sub-tank 2, or the number of times of driving the liquid feed means 6. When the fact that the amount of liquid in the sub-tank 2 has decreased below a predetermined amount is detected following to detection of the fact that the amount of liquid in the main tank 1 has decreased to the first amount of liquid P1, the liquid feed means 6 is driven and the detection value of the liquid feed operation detection means is monitored, thereby detecting the fact that the amount of liquid in the main tank 1 has decreased to the second amount of liquid P2 which is smaller than the first amount of liquid P1.
