PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method of detecting containment of email content. SOLUTION: This method includes generating a first set of hash values including hash values corresponding to each of a plurality of character strings of a first email document, generating a second set of hash values including hash values corresponding to each of a plurality of character strings of a second email document, and determining whether the first set of hash values is a subset of the second set of hash values, or not.
