PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head driving device and a liquid droplet delivering device, which can prevent a driving circuit from being broken because of occurrence of an abnormality without damaging the response of the driving circuit when an abnormality on the drive line which transmits a driving signal for driving a recording head or an abnormality such as dielectric breakdown in the recording head is detected. SOLUTION: During an inspection mode, a control unit 112 designates a DC-DC converter 124 to stop the switching operation. Consequently, the voltage value of a power supply voltage +V2 applied to the gate of a transistor Tr2 becomes an inspection voltage (a reference voltage +V1 in the embodiment) which is lower than the normal supply voltage being supplied during the normal operation mode. Consequently, the gate-source voltage Vgs of the transistor Tr2 has a voltage value smaller than the absolute rated voltage of the transistor Tr2 even if the drive line 131 is short-circuited.
