The belt (1) has a base body made of a polymer material, with flexible characteristics, and comprising a cover layer (2) i.e. belt back. A base frame (3) is provided with a force transmission zone (4), where the base frame and/or the force transmission zone is equipped with a wear-resistant and/or medium-resistant coating. The belt is provided with a detectable marking (6) in a belt longitudinal direction (X). The detectable marking is magnetic, detects entire belt breadth in a belt transverse direction (Y) and comprises a polymer coating. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring belt parameters i.e. belt speed and belt expansion, of a driving belt.
