<p>The invention relates to a continuous method for discharging dredged materials, including: a first step in which a hopper barge (2) is assembled to a dredger (1); a second step marking the start of the dredging process, in which the dredger and the hopper barge operate as a traditional dredging machine; a third step in which the two elements are separated when the hopper of the hopper barge (2) is full of material and a new hopper barge is assembled to the dredger in order for the dredging to continue; and a fourth towing step in which the full hopper barge is anchored to the tug (3) to wait for more full hoppers, which are all subsequently towed to the designated discharge area, whereby each hopper barge can contain a geotextile insulating bag that prevents the dispersion of the materials, all of which is configured such that the dredging is performed in a continuous, environmentally-friendly and efficient manner.</p> |
