<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying method which is capable of reducing the concentration of heavy metals including Cr, Pb and Cu which is present in the water to be treated, with a low initial cost and a running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The concentration of heavy metals in the water to be treated is reduced by at least carrying out the treatment of contacting the treatment target water containing at least one or more heavy metals from among Cr, Pb and Cu with the filter bed containing plant-derived material as a filter medium; or by cultivating plants on the treatment target water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
