摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet having a high magnetic property, without being affected by organic dispersant or organic lubricant. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a pulverizing process of obtaining alloy powder by pulverizing with a jet mill method after crushing an alloy of a raw material, an orientation process of orientating the alloy powder in magnetic field, and a sintering process of sintering the alloy powder after the orientation process. The pulverizing process is performed in a hydrogen gas, or in a mixed gas of the hydrogen gas and an inert gas. Since the hydrogen is used as a dispersant, and the pulverizing process is performed efficiently without using the organic dispersant, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen atom derived from the organic dispersant never invades into fine particle of the alloy powder, and the magnetic property is improved. Moreover, when the alloy powder and a liquefied inert gas are mixed between the pulverizing process and the orientation process, and the orientation process is performed before the liquefied inert gas is completely vaporized, since the crystal orientation is increased without using the organic lubricant, an organic lubricant-eliminating process is made unnecessary, without being affected by carbon etc., derived from the organic lubricant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
