<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct liquid type writing utensil that prevents ink leakage from a pen wick due to a pressure increase inside an ink storage tube caused by closing of an air hole by a flow of ink inside the ink storage tube to the side of the tube bottom when writing is continuously executed on a vertical writing face such as a whiteboard. <P>SOLUTION: The direct liquid type writing utensil is composed of a pen wick 1, a pen-wick holder 3 having a pen-wick holding tube 2 into which the pen wick 1 is fitted by press-fitting, and an ink tank 4 arranged at the rear of the pen-wick holding tube 2 so that the rear end of the pen wick 1 is brought into contact with the inner bottom face while storing ink therein. A spiral venting groove 21 is formed in the inner wall face of the pen-wick holding tube or in the outer peripheral face of the pen wick. When the pen wick 1 is located horizontally or vertically with respect to the ground, the ink does not reach the rear end of the pen-wick holding tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
