<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of displaying useful information for a user to obtain a screen navigation path. <P>SOLUTION: When a connected character string cannot be fitted within a crumb list display area 34b, a crumb list from which some screen tiles 40 constituting the head of a crumb list are excluded is displayed. According to this, since the screen tile 40 of a screen near a currently displayed screen is displayed, a user can easily know in what type of screen navigation path the currently displayed screen is located even if the lateral width of the crumb list display area 34b is small. Further, when the screen tile is excluded, an exclusion symbol 36 is displayed in the crumb list display area 34b.
