METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MEDICAL INSTRUMENT, AND MEDICAL INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately assemble scissors at the distal end of a medical instrument so as to easily cut an object.

SOLUTION: A scissors mechanism 1300 is assembled as a unit. The scissors mechanism 1300 is openably/closably fastened with a bolt body 1217 and a nut body 1219 with a pair of layered end effector members 1308 in a prescribed rubbed state by a shaft at the proximal end. The bolt body 1217 has a center hole 1217d penetrating in the axial direction. The scissors mechanism 1300 is inserted into a tube of a cover 1160 coupled to the distal end of a coupling shaft 18, and the end effector members 1308 are connected to a passive plate 1158 by links 1220a and 1220b. A spacer 1340 is disposed in the gap formed between the scissors mechanism 1300 and the cover 1160. A pin 1196 is inserted into a hole 1307 in the cover 1160 and the center hole 1217d in the bolt body 1217 from the outer side of the cover 1160.
