<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which employs a heat-pressure fixing system and provides an image of high image quality and in a high gloss area by making inconspicuous, rush-scratches formed on the surface of a fixing member caused by a paper which has passed through a nip portion. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device 60 includes: a fixing belt 610 that is driven to rotate; a pressure roll 62 that is rotated in accordance with rotation of the fixing belt 610 while pressing the fixing belt 610, and that forms a nip portion N through which the paper P passes, the nip portion N being formed between the pressure roll and the fixing belt 610; and a surface shape adjusting roll 618 that has a surface including a plurality of spherical projections, and that rotates with the surface being in contact with the fixing belt 610 so as to adjust the surface shape of the fixing belt 610. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
