PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional temperature control device that the humidity of discharged gas of which the temperature is controlled is not controlled. SOLUTION: This temperature and humidity control device includes: a heating circuit side having a heater 14; a cooling circuit side having coolers 16, 16 to which a heating medium adiabatically expanded by an automatic expansion valve 28 and cooled is supplied; and a heat pump means. The temperature and humidity control device further includes: a temperature adjustment control part 22 for controlling two-way valves 20a, 20b for distributing heating mediums compressed by a compressor 18 and heated to the heating circuit side and the cooling circuit side; a humidity control part 27 for controlling the rotational frequency of the compressor 18 so as to control an air flow passing through the heater 14 and the coolers 16, 16 to predetermined humidity; and an expansion valve control part 42 for controlling an opening of the automatic expansion valve 28 so that temperatures of the heating mediums supplied to the coolers 16, 16 and the degree of overheat of the compressor 18 are fallen within predetermined ranges.
