<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit having a backup function and an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply circuit includes a booster circuit 30 which boosts a voltage input from a system power source 12 and outputs the boosted voltage, a power source monitoring circuit 18 which compares a magnitude relation between the voltage of the system power source 12 with a first reference voltage (Vref), and a power source switching circuit 24 which is provided with a first input terminal 24a connected to the system power source 12, a second input terminal 24b connected to the output side of the booster circuit 30, and an output terminal 24c which is switchably connected between the first input terminal 24a and the second input terminal 24b based on a comparison result of the power supply monitoring circuit 18.
