PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal overload relay allowing the interphase pitch between connection lines to be readily changeable without using a jig or the like in the work for electrically connecting the thermal overload relay to different types of electromagnetic contactors, thereby reducing the maintenance cost. SOLUTION: A connection line-holding structure 13 is engaged in a casing and holds a plurality of the connection lines 12a to 12c with the distances between the connection lines readily changeable, and permits interphase pitches of the plurality of connection lines protruding outward from the casing to be changeable.
