PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a generator for simulated clutter compact, which can generate an elaborate simulated clutter signal and supply/display it to/on a radar display. SOLUTION: When a modulation on the basis of statistical data is carried out by using an individual functional circuit, circuits are increased by the number of functions, thereby causing the generator to grow in size. So, a digital signal generating section employing a frequency accumulator is prepared, and Doppler frequency information, phase/amplitude modulation information on the basis of the statistical data, and amplitude information in accordance with a reflective intensity are input, and the simulated clutter signal subjected to various modulations using digital signals is generated, thereby making the generator compact by operations of generating signals and integrating modulation circuit sections.
