PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device preventing vapor or air from staying in the back pressure chamber of a pressure regulator. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device 10 includes a fuel pump 18, the pressure regulator 38 regulating the fuel pressure in a pressure regulating chamber 44 according to the back pressure in the back pressure chamber 45 and discharging the fuel surplus in the pressure regulating chamber 44, and a change-over device changing over an introduction state into the back pressure chamber 45 of the pressure regulator 38 between a fuel introduction state and an atmospheric pressure introduction state. The system fuel pressure of fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve 16 is varied through the change-over of the change-over device. A fuel inlet section 95 from which fuel is introduced into the back pressure chamber 45 of the pressure regulator 38 and a fuel outlet section 96 from which fuel in the back pressure chamber 45 is discharged are disposed in such a manner that a convection of fuel occurs in the back pressure chamber 45.
