PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize display easier to see, without impairing the convenience of a user, in an electronic thermometer. SOLUTION: A light-emitting part 352 including a plurality of arranged LEDs, a vibration detecting part 330 for detecting that the electronic thermometer 100 is shaken, and a display control part 344 for controlling light emission of each LED and an electromagnetic induction power generation part 311 are provided. The display control part 344, further, includes a means for generating a light emission dot pattern based on information on a body temperature of a measured subject and a means for calculating light emission time per dot line of the LED calculated, based on the detection results of the vibration detecting part 330, and the light-emitting part 352 controls light emission of each LED based on the generated light emission dot pattern and the calculated light emission time per dot line.
