PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treating method capable of controlling leaching out of chemical substances in waste into the environment by utilizing sludge incineration ash treated through a specified procedure and find a new application of sludge incineration ash. SOLUTION: The treating method comprises arranging a treated product of incineration ash obtained by bringing sludge incineration ash into contact with an acid around waste containing chemical substances.
