PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of uniforming temperature distribution in a first storage chamber and a second storage chamber divided laterally by a vertical partition body and enlarging an interior volume. SOLUTION: Cold air generated by a cooler 16 arranged in a lower part of a body which is a heat insulating case body is made to ascend by an air blower 17 in a back face air course at the back side of a right refrigerating chamber 20, then, guided into a vertical air course 54 formed in an upper vertical partition body 8 via an introducing through-hole 52 formed at the upper part of the upper vertical partition body 8, and supplied to inside of a left refrigerating chamber 22 via the upper introducing through-hole 52 and a lower blowout communication port 53 communicating with the vertical air course 54. After being made to ascend in the back face air course, the cold air is made to descend and supplied into the refrigerating chamber 20 via a cold air blowout port 56 formed at the back face air course at the vertically central position of the refrigerating chamber 20. The cold air supplied into the refrigerating chamber 22 is supplied into the refrigerating chamber 20 via a through-hole 59 formed at the lower part of the upper vertical partition body 8.
