PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated electric wire having superior coil insertability and neither turbidity nor defective appearance of a coating. SOLUTION: In the insulated electric wire in which at least a lubricant-added lubricant layer is formed on a conductor, in the lubricant layer, the lubricant is aggregated, and a granular material having sizes of 5-3 μm is scattered on the surface.
