DEVICE FOR FEEDING FLAT OBJECTS WITH A SYNCHRONIZER HAVING SEVERAL MOTORIZATIONS

A device for feeding flat objects comprises a de-stacking device (4), a conveyor (5) in which the objects in series edgewise are displaced with a constant spacing and a synchronization device (6) interposed between the de-stacking device and the conveyor serves to compensate for the variations in the spacing between consecutive objects. The de-stacking device (4) is servocontrolled so as to de-stack a current object in response to a signal detecting the passage of another de-stacked object preceding said current object downstream of the de-stacker. The synchronization device (6) is devised so as to displace at the same time several objects in series edgewise according to different respective speed profiles so as to compensate for the variations in the spacing.
