SHEET-LIKE SECONDARY BATTERY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to improvement in quality of product by suppressing the generation of distortions in a laminate exterior package during a manufacturing process.

SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a sheet-like secondary battery 10, a stacked electrode 1 is housed inside the laminate exterior package 2, formed by a laminate film having a resin layer and a metal layer. The manufacturing method comprises an external package forming process for forming a laminate housing 2s to house the stacked electrode 1 inside the laminate exterior package 2; an electrolyte injection process for housing the stacked electrode 1 into the laminate housing 2s of the laminate exterior package 2 to inject an electrolyte 5; and a sealing process for sealing the periphery of the laminate exterior package 2; into which the electrolyte 5 is injected by means of heat sealing. In the exterior package forming process, an irregular distortion-absorbing unit 20 to absorb the distortion at least at the time of forming the laminate housing 2s is formed on the surface 2su of the laminate exterior package 2, corresponding to the laminate housing 2s.
