PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of securely determining whether a screen printing plate has deteriorated.

SOLUTION: The method of determining a deterioration of the screen printing plate to be used for screen printing includes: a preparatory step to form at least two determining markers around a printing region with a pattern open-hole part of a screen mesh part integrally formed with a photosensitive emulsion layer; a measurement step to measure an intermarker distance, i.e. a distance between at least two determining markers; and a determination step to compare the intermarker distance with a numerical value range preset corresponding to the intermarker distance, and determine that the deterioration has occurred in the screen printing plate, in the case that an intermarker distance exists not belonging to the numerical value range.
